Terms & Conditions - $20 FREE Bonus Package

The following are the terms and conditions of the '$20 Free Promotion' (the 'Promotion'). The Promotion shall be organized by 888 corporate group (the 'Promoter') who is the owner and operator, inter alia, of the brand .

General Terms and Conditions

  1. We expect you to be fair when you take part in promotions. We consider certain types of play to be unfair and to break these terms and conditions. These unfair types of play include, without limitation, the following:
    1. using ‘minimal risk wagering patterns’ (that is, a set pattern of bets or stakes that unfairly minimises risks or opposite betting – eg. betting on red/black in roulette in equal amounts);
    2. sharing personalised promotions (that is, promotions only available to specific customers we offer them to) with others and/or taking part in any personalised promotion forwarded to you by someone else when it was not intended for you;
    3. colluding with other customers (that is, plotting with others to gain an unfair advantage) in relation to the promotion;
    4. taking part in a promotion that is not available in the country you live in;
    5. using more than one account per household or per IP address;
    6. taking advantage of broken mechanics and combination of loopholes on the game that leads to abusing the promotion/offer/bonus; and
    7. repeatedly depositing, cashing out and redepositing purely to gain a deposit related bonus.
  2. Eligibility for promotions is limited to one player per household even if there is more than one computer retained at the address. The identity of a user will be determined based on all or any combination of the following: name, mailing address, e-mail address, IP address, payment card number, computer, and any other form of identification that may be required.
  3. If you take part in any play that we consider to be unfair, we may cancel any bonuses, offers or promotions applied to your account, reclaim any bonus/offer you have received as part of any promotion we have cancelled, and either:
    1. void any bets/stakes funded by a bonus/offer (that is, treat them as if they had never been placed); or
    2. remove any winnings relating to any bonus/offer.
  4. 888 reserves the right to refuse the whole or part of any bet, stake or similar transaction requested by you: (i) where you have breached these terms and conditions; or (ii) at any time in our sole discretion, except that we will not exercise (or seek to enforce) any such restriction if you have already made one or more qualifying bets/stakes in respect of the promotion and the exercise of our discretion would affect your ability to:
    1. receive the free/bonus bets/credit, or the full expected value of the free/bonus bets/credit, from the promotion, where you have placed all the necessary qualifying bets/stakes;
    2. place the remaining qualifying bets/stakes required by the promotion, and consequently receive the free/bonus bets/credit, or the full expected value of the free/bonus bets/credit, from the promotion, to which you would be entitled as a result; or
    3. materially affect your ability to complete the qualifying bets/stakes required by the promotion.
  5. You may not participate in the promotion (and you will not be entitled to receive any free/bonus bets/credit or bonus/offer) if you have previously been informed by 888 that you are excluded from participating in promotions or any gaming or wagering on the 888 PC app or the 888 iOS or Android Mobile app.
  6. 888 has the right to refuse or withhold free/bonus bets/credit (or any winnings from free/bonus bets/credit or bonus/offer) in the event of funds you have wagered being cancelled or denied by any payment service.
  7. We can change or cancel this promotion, or change these terms and conditions:
    1. without giving you notice, if the change or cancellation is needed because of any change in law or regulation; or
    2. by giving you notice beforehand, if the change or cancellation is for any other valid reason (for example, if there is a fault in the software or systems we use to provide this promotion, we identify a mistake in these terms and conditions, or we are discontinuing the promotion for any other reason).
  8. We can also award an equivalent bonus/offer to the one referred to in this promotion.
  9. We will not be responsible for any technical, hardware or software failures, or any unavailable or lost network conditions which may result in incorrect information being displayed, or affect your ability to enter or take part in the promotion. If there is any dispute over your eligibility for the promotion, our decision will be final.
  10. Your use of our website and app, and your betting or gaming activity on it, is governed by our User Agreement (currently available here) and the 888poker Bonus Policy (currently available here). In addition to these promotional terms and conditions, you must read the following documents before participating in this promotion:

      If any of these terms and conditions conflict with the provisions of the User Agreement, the terms of the User Agreement will prevail to that extent. 

  11. You may request withdrawal of your available balance funds (including, without limitation, your deposit balance) from your 888poker account at any time subject to the terms outlined in Withdrawal Policy.
  12. These terms and conditions are governed by, and interpreted in line with, the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Promotion

  1. You may only participate in the Promotion, if you have not previously registered with the Site. If you benefit from this Promotion you will not be eligible to benefit from any other first deposit bonus or first deposit offer with the Site. If you have benefited from another first deposit offer with the Site you are not eligible to benefit from this Promotion.
  2. You may not combine this registration offer with any other type of registration offer provided by the Site.
  3. In order to enter the Promotion and receive the $20 Bonus Package, an entrant must download the Promoter's poker client, mobile application or click ‘Instant Play’ (‘No-Download’ version) and open a new user account with the Promoter at www.888poker.ca or via any of the Promoter's main websites and landing pages. The entrant will then receive an e-mail to the e-mail address entered in the registration form from the Promoter asking him/her to claim the offer by verifying his/her e-mail address by clicking on a link within the e-mail body or by SMS to the phone number entered. This is a prerequisite for the $20 FREE Bonus Package offer to be activated.
  4. After registration, entrants have 14 days to claim their $20 FREE before it expires.
  5. The $20 bonus will be granted as Tournament Tickets:
    • 40 tickets of $0.1 buy-in
    • 16 tickets of $1 buy-in
  6. Once claimed, the bonus will be granted in batches as follows:
    • First batch worth $5 (10 tickets of $0.1 buy-in and 4 tickets of $1 buy in), will be granted following your fulfilment of point 3 above.
    • Second batch worth $5 (10 tickets of $0.1 buy-in and 4 tickets of $ 1buy in) will be granted 3 days after the bonus has was claimed.
    • Third batch worth $10 (20 tickets of $0.1 buy-in and 8 tickets of $ 1 buy in) will be granted 7 days after the bonus was claimed.

Tournament Tickets

  1. A Tournament Ticket possesses a fixed value and may only be used in tournaments that have a buy-in equal to that of the value of the Tournament Ticket. For the avoidance of doubt, Tournament Tickets may not be used as a buy-in for a tournament where the buy-in is less than the value of a Tournament Ticket.
  2. If you don’t use the Tournament Tickets granted under the Promotion within 24 hours of being credited to your account, such Tournament Tickets shall expire and you shall forfeit such ticket.
  3. A Tournament Ticket can’t be used by a player to re-buy chips or to add chips to his/her stack during a tournament.
  4. Tournament Tickets may not be: (i) exchanged or converted into cash; (ii) joined together to create a higher value ticket; or (iii) transferred by a player to another player.

    • These terms and conditions have been drafted in the English language. In the event of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of these terms and conditions and the English language version, the meaning of the English language version shall prevail.
    • These terms and conditions and any matters relating hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada.
